With the release of the new Spider-Man: Web of Shadows just over a week away, the development team decided it might be time to stir up some more interest in the title, as the full trailer is now available over at the game’s official site.

Despite the fact that the last Spidey game was nearly unplayable, and that superhero spin-offs in general tend to do rather poorly in the gaming sector, this one looks like it has the potential to turn the trend around. With an interesting story and the inclusion of lots of character from Spidey’s universe (including Wolverine, which brings it up a few points right off the bat), and some fantastic-looking graphics, I’m willing to give this game a shot and see what Activision has up its sleeves. Look for it in stores October 21.
