Some news today is actually NOT coming from the floor at the E3 expo, but from the good ol’ interwebs themselves. Head on over to Bungie’s homepage and you’ll see a countdown clock, which ends around 10 am Wednesday morning, accompanied by some random warning and/or error messages (”EXPECT DELAYS,” “PARDON OUR DUST,” “KEEP IT CLEAN,” etc.). It also has a face that looks like the little plunger dude that Kotaku had shown off the other day. We’ll count the hours until the news is shared with the rest of us.

[Edit] Thanks to a clever poster over at Kotaku for this one: the timer ends at 07:07:07 am PST Wednesday morning - which would be just after 10 am Eastern, as I said, but the exact time is appropriate given Bungie’s obsession with the number 7.
