If you’ve been keeping up with the Jones’ lately you’ve likely heard of the kid whose Xbox 360 got scrubbed. Well, now word is coming that Bungie has something special for the affronted gamer. Here’s hoping it’s a donkey punch from Master Chief himself for being such an uber-dork.

The funniest part of this story by far is thinking about all the fun those low-paid tech support dudes from Microsoft had with this kid’s treasured possession. I am imagining something akin to the scene is Office Space where they beat the crap out of the printer, except instead of baseball bats these guys were armed with Windex and Bounty. God, I can almost see their evil grins now

I would’ve gotten on the phone with MS and told them to come to my house to fix the damn thing. That’s total bs that it got wiped. Awful. That had better be something seriously generous and kickass that they’re planning for this poor kid.
